Introducing Claude Design by Anthropic Labs

Today, we’re excited to introduce Claude Design, a brand-new Anthropic Labs product that enables you to partner with Claude to produce high-quality visual assets such as designs, prototypes, presentations, one-pagers, and more. Claude Design is driven by our most advanced vision model, Claude Opus 4.7, and is now available in research preview for Claude Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise users. We’re gradually rolling this out to users throughout the day. Design with Claude. Even seasoned designers must carefully ration their exploration—there’s seldom enough time to prototype numerous directions, so they restrict themselves to just a handful. For founders, product managers, and marketers who have ideas but lack design experience, turning those concepts into shareable visuals can feel intimidating. Claude Design offers designers the freedom to explore broadly while giving non-designers an accessible way to create polished visual work. You describe your requirements, and Claude creates an initial version. From there, you iterate and refine it through back-and-forth conversation, inline comments, direct edits, or custom sliders (created by Claude) until it feels just right. When granted access, Claude can automatically apply your team’s design system across every project, ensuring the output remains consistent with your company’s overall design language. Teams have been using Claude Design for: Realistic prototypes: Designers can transform static mockups into interactive, easily shareable prototypes for feedback and user testing—no code reviews or PRs required.

Product wireframes and mockups: Product managers can map out feature flows and either hand them off to Claude Code for implementation or share them with designers for further refinement.

Design explorations: Designers can rapidly generate a broad variety of creative directions to explore.

Pitch decks and presentations: Founders and account executives can turn a rough outline into a polished, on-brand deck in minutes, then export it as PPTX or send it to Canva.

Marketing collateral: Marketers can produce landing pages, social media assets, and campaign visuals, then bring in designers to refine them.

Frontier design: Anyone can build sophisticated, code-powered prototypes featuring voice, video, shaders, 3D, and integrated AI.

How it works.
