Together, we strive to develop solutions that fulfill the stringent safety, reliability, and quality requirements of Japanese companies and public institutions. For NEC’s clientele. NEC and Anthropic will collaborate to create secure, industry-specific AI solutions tailored for Japanese customers in fields such as finance, manufacturing, and cybersecurity. Additionally, NEC has already begun incorporating Claude into its Security Operations Center services to strengthen defenses against increasingly advanced cyber threats. NEC will also integrate Claude into its next-generation cybersecurity service. Claude, including Claude Opus 4.7 and Claude Code, will be incorporated into NEC BluStellar Scenario—a comprehensive platform offering consulting, AI tools, security, and digital infrastructure to businesses. The integration will begin with data-driven management and customer experience solutions, then expand to additional areas. Internally, NEC will create a Center of Excellence to build a highly skilled engineering organization powered by AI, backed by technical enablement and training provided by Anthropic. NEC plans to create one of Japan’s largest AI-native engineering teams, which will actively use Claude Code in their daily work. As part of its ongoing Client Zero initiative—where NEC acts as its own initial customer before releasing technology to external clients—the company will also broaden its adoption of Claude Cowork throughout its internal business operations.
