Three topics for digital transformation executives, 30 seconds reading time, one strategic observation per topic. Weekly at CDO level — where the market pivots this week.
1. KPMG × Anthropic — what the consulting industry is doing with AI
KPMG has announced a global alliance with Anthropic in which Claude is integrated into the entire core operations and approximately 276,000 employees. This is not “KPMG now uses Claude” — this is “KPMG positions itself as an AI-native consulting firm”.
Strategic observation: When the Big Four embed AI throughout their own consulting value chain, it changes what you pay for external consulting — and what you pay for. A conversation with your strategic consulting partner about their AI roadmap is a worthwhile hour this week.
2. Google AI Studio Antigravity — Vibe Coding as strategic trend
Google expanded its AI Studio in May with Antigravity: a coding agent that turns prompts into production-ready apps — with database integration, multiplayer logic, Cloud Run deployment. This is the second wave after Replit, Cursor, Bolt.
Strategic observation: Vibe Coding shifts the point where an idea becomes a functioning prototype from “days with engineers” to “minutes with any employee”. This is the most important organizational leverage change of the year — and it is no longer a pilot topic. Who in your organization is permitted to experiment and who is not? Who decides which “vibe-coded” solutions reach production status?
3. GPAI Code of Practice — what changes for your digital strategy
The final version of the Code is available and is becoming the de facto standard for AI vendors. Three chapters: transparency, copyright, security. Those who sign the Code enjoy presumption of conformity — those who do not must demonstrate compliance themselves.
Strategic observation: Starting summer 2026, it will be visible in the procurement process which AI vendor has signed the Code. This will become a KPI in your vendor assessments — and you can already begin maintaining a vendor list with “Code of Practice status” today. A simple field in the vendor database that will appear in every procurement audit in two years.
