Rubrik Security Cloud is now available in AWS European Sovereign Cloud. The platform stores and processes all customer data exclusively within the European Union. It offers a combination of immutable backups, AI-powered security mechanisms, sensitive data detection, and rapid recovery from cyberattacks or system failures.
The offering primarily targets European authorities and organizations from highly regulated sectors – finance, healthcare, energy supply. These organizations must adopt cloud services while meeting strict requirements for data storage and IT security. The solution is certified to BSI Standard C5, SOC 2 Type 1, and ISO 27001:2022, supporting compliance with DORA and NIS2.
With this expansion, Rubrik is broadening its European portfolio to include automated recovery processes for multi-cloud environments as well as AI-powered features for cyber recovery. A new module for protecting identity services in case of outages is also included. These features are designed to make infrastructures more resilient to cyberattacks while meeting growing requirements for digital sovereignty.
