Compliance teams must meet several NIS2 deadlines in the coming summer months to avoid penalties and fulfil the statutory requirement for IT security in critical sectors.
Over 11,000 companies have not yet completed their NIS2 registration by the deadline of 31 July 2024, exposing themselves to significant penalty risks.
The NIS2 implementation deadline ends on 31 July, and around 11,000 German companies must complete their cybersecurity measures by then to avoid fines up to €500,000.
