Agents for financial services

We’re launching ten ready-to-use agent templates that automate the most time-intensive tasks in financial services, including building pitch books, screening KYC documentation, and performing month-end close. Each one ships as a plugin for Claude Cowork and Claude Code, and as a cookbook for Claude Managed Agents—allowing teams to put Claude to work on real financial tasks in days instead of months. Claude also now integrates with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook (coming soon) via the Claude add-ins for Microsoft 365. Once the add-ins are installed, context flows automatically between applications, allowing work that begins in a model to continue seamlessly in a deck without any need to re-explain details. Finally, we’re expanding our partner ecosystem with new connectors and an MCP app, enabling agents to tap into the data financial professionals already rely on. Connectors provide Claude with governed, real-time access to a provider’s data, while MCP apps take it further by integrating the provider’s own tools directly into Claude. These updates work especially well with Claude Opus 4.7, which delivers state-of-the-art performance on financial tasks and tops the industry on Vals AI’s Finance Agent benchmark with a score of 64.37%. New finance-specific agent templates are also now available. Each agent template serves as a reference architecture that bundles three core components: skills (task-specific instructions and domain expertise), connectors (controlled access to the relevant data), and subagents (specialized Claude models invoked by the main agent for subtasks like comparables selection or methodology validation). Firms can customize any of these to align with their own modeling standards, risk policies, and approval processes. These new agent templates can be enabled either as plugins in Claude Cowork or Claude Code, or as cookbooks for Claude Managed Agents. Discover all plugins and cookbooks available at the financial services marketplace. Here’s the complete list of newly released agents: Investigation and client support.
